Selecting the Vertical Blinds That Meet Your Needs - It's All in the Details

We've been in the window treatment manufacturing and distribution business for over 40 years - so when it comes to selecting the right vertical blind for your window covering need, you can bet we've seen it all.
Vertical blinds can be considered part of two types - Ready Made and Custom Made. The biggest differences come down to product quality and turnaround time. Custom will always give the highest quality (necessary for most commercial applications) and the longest lead time (typically about 3 weeks) compared to Ready Made, which are fast and economical.
Pretty much every Ready Made Vertical Blind is made in China, but quality will differ significantly based on the purness of materials used and the intended use for the blinds. Most often Ready Made verticals are used in multi-family communities where abuse and product replacement are common. Residential homes may opt for the lower prices, but they're bound to be replacing more often than expected.

So what does this mean for your application?
Value Plus Verticals are your heaviest-duty headrail because it's aluminum. It will serve you well in areas where the vertical vane length is longer or the blind is wider. Replaceable stems make it so if a single carrier gets broken, your maintenance team (or one of our installers) can fix it so you're not replacing the entire headrail.
Value Stock Verticals are your most economical with a steel headrail and limited one-way draw. These verticals are perfect for environments where you'll expect frequent (every several years) replacement or blinds that won't be open/closed often.
EconoVerticals give you the most flexibility for how the blind will be installed. Split draw enables blinds to open from the center, so when you have a larger window or a door in-between two windows you'll need this option. Cord & chain withstand more use.
We're happy to help direct you on the best vertical blind for your environment.
