Springs Window Fashions Discontinues Use of Cord Tilt on 1" Bali Classic Aluminum Mini Blinds

Following legislation passed in 2018 and going into full effect in 2020, SWF Contract is implementing more changes in how aluminum mini blinds are controlled by discontinuing cord tilts.
The Window Covering Manufacturer's Association was pivotal in passing standards to improve safety for children, and that impacts businesses as well with their custom manufactured blinds.
1" Aluminum Classic Mini Blinds will now be controlled by a wand mechanism or a ring. By default, the cord from a ring or the wand will be no greater than 1/3 the total length of the blind unless ordered otherwise. We recommend taking this into consideration when ordering, especially in commercial buildings where the bottom of the blind can be 3'-4' AFF.
The Classic Mini Blind is a favorite in commercial applications because of its durable slats, large color selection, and durable 1" x 1 1/2" steel headrail.
